Bring up your children in the nurture of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4 KJV
This picture captures the essence of nurture. It is a loving grandfather, AKA Papa, with his newborn grandson. A couple of years later, Papa (my late husband, Bill) moved to Heaven. This photo is priceless because it evokes the feeling of nuture.
To nurture means to provide an environment where others can grow and become all that God created them to be. It certainly requires discipline and correction as well as hope and vision. It is being that person who believes in them even when they might doubt themselves. There is a heart connection that inspires greatness and getting up when you fail.
