What are the hope lessons learned in the #Write31Days challenge of October, 2016?
This has been a great adventure. It was my second time to write in this challenge. In some ways, it was easier because I knew what was ahead for the month. I almost didn’t take the plunge, yet am so glad that I did.
Feedback
By its very nature, feedback can be hard. I tend to be too hard on myself during self-evaluation. The reality is that the quickest and easiest path to growth is to look at what you need to improve, without forgetting what you did well. In fact, start with what you did well and follow up with what you will do next time. Putting it in those terms also makes it a positive. So here goes:
What I did well this year:
- Study of the context of the verses
- Deeper meaning of the word HOPE
- Cross promoted other writers
- Reactivated Pinterest
What I will change for next year:
- Plan ahead with more time
- Get a running start with at least five posts ahead
- Give myself one day of rest
- Start one full month early
- Put date on calendar to decide on topic, outline the entire series and create graphics. (September 15th is now on my calendar.
I loved this challenge and will joyfully participate next year. How about you? What was your biggest benefit? What will you do differently next year?
For all my fellow survivors, I have loved reading your posts and getting to know you. Whatever you do – don’t STOP!
