I find it hard to know what to eat that is healthy! What I need to do is research the good things for me (and my husband; though he “snacks” all day and if or when I cook, he barely eats it and saves it for “later” which sometimes never comes)…and I hate to cook for ONE!
Your post is so full of information that is well worth reviewing from time to time so I can get myself back on track. It may even help the tummy issues! It may even help the weight…
Thank you…a healthy snack? Or food item? I usually have some kind of fruit; right now it’s bananas and those little oranges/tangerines!
THis is an excellent post, Karen. Are you still on the Maker’s Diet?
Susan,
Thank you so much for the affirming words. I am not on a strict Maker’s Diet at this time. I have, however, modified my diet to an affordable alternative that fits our lifestyle. One of the things we love to eat every morning is our Ezekiel Toast with butter, turmeric and black pepper. We eat dairy free and have eliminated most sugars. It’s working. How about you? What works best for you?
Karen
Thank you for your wisdom and firsthand experience in caring for yourself as a caregiver. Eating right and well is so important for all of us in our daily lives. It’s an area that I need to work on continually in my own life.
Thanks for stopping by, Mary. I congratulate you on all the areas of excellence in your life. Praying that this Christmas season will be filled with healthy – awesome food! I so appreciate your friendship.
Karen
