Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin anew every morning. Lamentations 3:23

I am thankful for God’s faithfulness because I can expect new miracles of mercy every day.

God is FAITHFUL! We have heard it so many times. We sing songs about it. Yet at times we don’t act like we believe it.

In the seasons of life where you feel overwhelmed by life’s demands and problems, you often want to run from the situation. As you look around at others you may think that they have it made. They aren’t going through what you are going through.

Reality check

Everyone is going through something. No matter what it may look on the outside there are struggles and challenges in the lives of each person you meet.

No matter what you are going through, you can know that God is at work in your life and He is faithful to keep His promises to you. He can be trusted even when it looks like the bottom has fallen out of your life.

Hope Tools

Remember God’s faithfulness

Instead of trying so hard in your own strength, give the testimony of the faithfulness of the Lord in the midst of other difficult times. Refer back to your Miracle Journal or Gratitude List if you have forgotten. It may seem like what you are going through right now is the hardest trial ever but you’ve felt this way before and God met you in your place of need. Set reminders of His past provision when finances are tight. You are being set up for another miracle.

Look for fresh mercies

While it’s good to bring to mind what God has done for you in the past, look for brand-new miracles of provision and strength in your current situation. It’s in an environment of expectation that you will grasp the revelation of the bigger picture of what God is accomplishing in your life.

Prayer

Thank You Lord for being faithful. Your steady love and patient working in my life is the greatest miracle of all. I praise You for continuing the process of molding me into who You want me to be. I know that means that at times there are challenges and I thank You for each one because they are opportunities for you to show off your power and grace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
