I like the idea of the todo’s going forward and the spiritual thoughts and blog thoughts from the back. I have so many notes, and ideas who knows where. tons of journal composition books that I keep thinking one day, I will go back and read them. I know there are nuggets all through them.
It has been a great way to manage the barrage of papers. I still have a mess of paperwork on my desk yet the journal thoughts are all in one place. I like putting the dates on a label on the spine so I can go back to certain seasons. It was how I regained what I was feeling during the tough caregiving times. Plus, the composition books are so cheap during school supply purchase time.

Excellent advice, Karen! I, too, wrote in a composition during my caregiving journeys–each time I used them a little differently. Journaling was an excellent way to clear my mind of the chaos that cancer and mental illness cause!
Aren’t they great? I think the main thing is to get the words down in some format for later use. It does indeed clear the mind.
