Your display of wonders, miracles, and power makes the nations acknowledge you. By your glory-bursts you’ve rescued us over and over. Psalm 77:14 The Passion Translation

Miracles happen every day yet many times we just don’t realize it. Other times we forget to offer up the testimony of what happened.
My Dad is ill and I needed a way to go see him. I had been checking the flights and everything was super expensive because of the short notice. I prayed and asked the Lord to make a way. I tried one last time and suddenly there was a flight that popped up that was ony $64. I had a stop in Phoenix so it was longer than the direct flight. I booked it immediately.
As I waited to board the flight, I was able to talk to someone who encouraged me greatly and is now a new FaceBook friend. I sat next to a gentleman who needed encouragement in caring for his mother. I was able to offer the testimony of the way I was able to take care of my first husband, Bill.
Offer up your testimony of miracles every chance you get because others need to be encouraged in their faith.
Tell the testimonies of your family miracles. Offer these stories freely so that your legacy is of faith and hope.
As I sit here with Dad, we have been recounting the miracles of his lifetime. He met Mom at Bible College and they fell in love. They started pastoring their first church the Sunday after they got married and have been in ministry every since. They felt the call to be missionaries, went to Latin America and served there for over thirty years. Their passports are miracles of grace and lives touched with the love of Jesus.
A boy who grew up on a dirt farm in the Texas Panhandle a pioneer of the faith for the Foursquare Church. His dedication to disciple those under his leadership created a ripple effect that continues to change lives.
Honor what God has done in your life and those in your family. Just like the children of Israel, create a rich legacy of telling and retelling the stories of God’s provision and protection.

- Ask for eyes to see the miracles of provision, protection and health that surround you on a daily basis
- Stop to thank God every day for miracles that took place
- Testify of the miraculous in order to build up the faith of others
- Create a miracle notebook or scrapbook where you annotate the miraculous provision and protection of the Lord over you and your family
Prayer
Thank You, Lord, for your goodness and mercy toward every single one of us. Give us eyes to see the miracles that You are providing. Thank You for guiding our steps, protecting us as we move forward and teaching us every step of the way. Grant us wisdom to share our personal miracles with our children and grandchildren. May we see Your hand in what others would see as ordinary because you rescue us over and over. We trust You to do it again and again. In Jesus’ name. Amen

What a great reminder. I especially appreciated the phrase in the prayer: “Give us eyes to see the miracles that You are providing.” It is so easy to miss all the miraculous things in the midst of the messy things. Thank you!
Erika,
That is just so true that the miracles get bogged down in the mess. Thanks for stopping by. I will return the favor when I get a minute to do so.
Looking forward to reading your post.
Karen
I love recording miracles in my gratitude journal. Your post reminds of the song “My Story” by Big Daddy Weave. I hope you have a lovely day!
Jolene,
Thanks for stopping by. I would love to sit down and share our gratitude journal miracles! What a legacy you are leaving! I love that song as well. Have a hope-filled day. Will return the favor when I get a chance to do so.

Praying for your dad. Glad you are able to be there with him.
Tara,
Thank you so very, very much for the prayers. Having some pre-emptive grief as I prepare to leave. I feel your prayers like a comforting hug!
You are amazing.
Karen
I pray will pray over that question. I can think of several times. More recently, my van broke down, and God is providing the repairs we need. Thanks for sharing your testimony of legacy. My father was also a pastor and evangelist.
Mary,
I love the timely provision of the Lord for the repairs. Also, the repairs were made before you had further damage or an accident. I love that you are a PK! We belong to the same club.
I so appreciate your input and when I get a chance I will return the favor

Wow! I love this so much Karen…. it would have been so easy -and understandable- for you to stay inward focused as you traveled to see your Dad… but because you look up and out you saw opportunities to share your faith and offer your story and so how God uses those things as seeds in others’ lives! So inspiring! Great post! Praying for you and your family!
Karrilee,
Thanks so much for the prayers. We can feel them.
I so appreciate the encouragement and look forward, as always, to reading what you have written as well.
You are a treasure.
Karen
Karen I pray for your father and you. Thank you for reminding me of the legacy that family has and how we can all be a part of the Lord’s legacy. I loved the actionable steps you gave us too. Especially “Ask for eyes to see the miracles of provision, protection and health that surround you on a daily basis”
God bless you.
Kelly,
Thanks for those prayers – we can feel them.
I know that as you continue to be obedient in writing and sharing your story you are leaving a legacy.
Blessings.
Karen
