Longevity Secrets from the Life of Bill Pritchett
Yet, as God’s servants, we prove ourselves authentic in every way. For example: We have great endurance in hardships and in persecutions. We don’t lose courage and continue to have hope even in a time of stress and calamity. 2 Corinthians 6:2-4 TPT
One time when visiting Mom and Dad, I realized they were talking on the phone with many of their disciples.
“Dad, I have a question. Do you call most of these people or do they call you?” I asked.
He paused and said, “I really don’t know how to answer that. I guess you could say that it is both ways.”
Over the years they stayed in touch with countless individuals offering wisdom and showing love in many ways. These relationships had long-lasting results in expanding fruitful ministry and provided a perspective that others needed so much. They did a lot of listening and praying.
In his last year, he started texting ‘good night’ to an ever-increasing group of people. This personal connection was his hallmark and the number grew to over 40 people.
Here are a few quotes from those who enjoyed this level of relationship with Bill and Betty Pritchett:
Bill Pritchett was my father in the faith.
Forever grateful to God for His eternal gift to me. Without hesitation I can say: I would never be where and who I am today without everything he imparted into me through his life, love, our Wonderful Jesus and the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the Father!!
John Schmidt
Pastor Bill was truly one of the most influential people along with Pastor Betty in my life as well. All who knew him came away changed by how he loved them and experienced his deep love of God. Ruth Rosenzweig
Thank you, Lord, for Bill Pritchett’s life. He was a gift to the world and Your church. I loved him, as did so many others. And he loved us. Never a question of that. I look forward to seeing him again. Linda Borgmier Norris
Heaven is truly blessed with another angel. I will forever treasure my glorious time on the plane with you and your dad. You made me instantly feel like family. Linda Yuncker
What a wonderful man! He gave the altar call that my husband and I answered that resulted in our missionary call to Greece. We are forever grateful! Marla Zorn Bryan
I miss you already Bill. Thank you for praying for me and thank you for a very precious friendship. You are in heaven now and I was privileged to know you. Mini Garcia
Tuve el privilegio de ser su discípulo por muchos años. Ahora él disfruta de la presencia del Señor! Jorge Cuadra
I still want to be like you because you were so much like Jesus. See you in heaven don Guillermo! Carlos Mestayer
I honor his faith-filled life up until his last breath. He had been praying he would have a “glorious exit.” The Lord answered that prayer. I thank the Lord for giving me a Daddy who so loves God and taught me by example that there is no greater joy than serving Jesus. I want to be like him because he is like Jesus.

Grief can be a very difficult thing. There are moments where I’m very sad and others where I’m filled with joy. We “ride the waves” as my mom says and today was one of those days. My grandfather, Bill Pritchett, passed away this morning. He was the most kind, gentle, God loving man. I will forever be grateful for the love and prayer that my grandfather has given me my entire life!
