Hope is Powerful
Welcome to the Blog!
Do you need an infusion of HOPE? The blog is where I share personal anecdotes and testimonials of the faithfulness of God in the midst of struggles such as – serious health issues, infertility, a prodigal daughter, caring for her disabled spouse, and becoming a widow – that could cause despair. I share from my heart how God gives me transforming hope to, not just survive these difficult situations, but to overcome and enjoy an abundant life even before the circumstances change.
Why me?
I grabbed a pillow off the couch and ran out to the back yard. I felt I had no where else to go to escape. I screamed into the pillow - "I hate this. Why me?" We had just moved in with my mother-in-law after my father-in-law died. She seemed seriously depressed and...

Receiving Guidance
Your ears will hear sweet words behind you: “Go this way. There is your path; this is how you should go” whenever you must decide whether to turn to the right or the left. Isaiah 30:21 I find this verse to be a great comfort. What I noticed as I was reading the...
Praying Boldly
"Before they call out, I'll answer. Before they've finished speaking, I'll have heard." Isaiah 65:23 (MSG) I love the truth that we serve a God who is intimately connected with us. One of my greatest hope sources comes from knowing that my Heavenly Father really does...
