Instead, by truth spoken in love, we are to grow in every way into Him—the Anointed One, the head. Ephesians 4:15 VOICE

Give hope a voice

The Biblical definition of hope says that no matter what it looks like right now God can bring about a good outcome. Your words create the atmosphere that surround you.
I recently got this message from a friend that touched me deeply:
“My daughter said to tell you that you were the first one to make her believe she was creative. She was in Jr Hi school, they were painting and she made a mistake. You told her, “Great, when you make a mistake is when you have a chance to become really creative.” She produces beautiful paintings, makes gorgeous quilts, knits and crochets lovely gifts, decorates w/style and panache’, and is an incredible Speech and Language pathologist working w/young children. Thank you speaking hope into her life at time when she most needed it.”
The funny thing is that I don’t remember that specific conversation. The important part is that I spoke hope to a young woman who was struggling and, at that moment, something clicked inside her. Truth transforms and releases love and creativity. She was able to believe the truth about herself instead of lies. Be generous with encouragement and hope. Your word make a difference.

Hope mixed with grace and mercy can transform what seems like the worst situation ever into an adventure.

Prayer

Lord thank you for the honor of speaking truth in love to this young lady at a crucial time in her life. I am grateful for the opportunities that I have had to invest in the lives of others. I pray that many will liberally bless with words of hope into the lives of everyone in their lives. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
